Self Drilling Rock Anchor Application Scope
Self-drilling rock anchor is widely used in tunnel pre-support, slope and roadbed reinforcement and tunnel disease treatment as an efficient anchoring means. It provide the optimal solution for nailing, bolting, micro piling and as ground anchors in difficult ground and rock conditions.

Structure of Self Drilling Rock Anchor
During the construction of underground works, it is very common to encounter soft rock, fractured zone and large deformation due to high ground stress. In the case of serious collapsing, extra-long anchor is needed instead of ordinary one. Rockbolt self-drilling anchor embodies drilling, grouting and anchoring as a whole and satisfying support is obtained in tunnel pre-support, radial support, slope reinforcement and treatment of large deformation due to high ground stress.
■ Spherical nut: To transfer the stress of surrounding rock on plate.
■ Arch plate: To bear high stress of surrounding rock.
■ Grouting stopper: To maintain grouting pressure to fully fill the cracks of surrounding rock.
■ Anchor body: With the international standard wave-shape thread in full length, it is convenient to install bit, coupling and fasten nut. Cutting or linking are available.
■ Coupling: It is possible for anchor to be elongated to the designed one while drilling.
■ Rock Bit: It is possible to cut through various surrounding rock due to its strong penetrability.


 
Character of Self Drilling Rock Anchor
Self-drilling rock bolt, matched with good fittings, is made of seamless steel pipe with thick wall. In addition, surface thread-shaping technology is taken. Therefore drilling, grouting and anchoring can be carried out at one time.
1.With a bit at the anchor head, it is easy to cut through various rocks.
2.With the continuous international standard wave-shape thread, this anchor can be used to drill holes with help of bit.
3.It is used as grouting channel and unnecessary to be pulled out.
4.Grouting pressure can be kept at a high level under the help of grouting stopper, so the cracks are fully filled and the fractured rock is improved. Moreover the stress of surrounding rock is uniformly transferred to the rock wall by means of high-strength plate and nut, realizing the purpose of support each other between surrounding rock and anchor.
5.With the high-strength coupling elongated by mechanical cutting technology, this self-drilling anchor, which is characterized by being elongated while drilling, can be used at the place with narrow space, achieving the aim of rock reinforcement with extra-long anchor.
6.It's unnecessary to take the measures of sleeve protecting and pregrouting to drill holes in condition of various surrounding rocks since this anchor embodies drilling, grouting and anchoring as a whole, and significant anchoring and grouting are achieved.
